but those style on the left (which are just junk that come for free with $1 grips, not that bar end plugs need to be good) can be made to fit narrower bars, by taking some side cutters and trimming around each ring.
If you just try and smash them in then they'll break but that does work well.
iunno are road bars bigger or smaller inside? I forget. Probably bigger in which case you could shim them but the answer is probably no.
