I got a really dumb fucking question; I still lack getting enough calories and I still get pretty hungry on rides. Usually, I have a post-ride shake, with protein, banana, strawberries, powered peanut butter and oats which comes out to around 600 calories give or take. Would it be more beneficial to have that shake an hour or so before the ride. This shit just dawned on me that it would be better to have that pre ride vs post ride so I actually have a good bulk of calories to work with. I ride around 25-30 miles a day.
