The Texas Triangle is the optimal distance (and density) for high-speed rail. If yall could get the oil lobbyists out of your politics you could build some beautiful infrastructure across Texas. It's ideal for high-speed rail, especially when you consider how fast those cities are growing and how much construction is going on in all the downtowns.
