5 flats and a ripped tire later, I mounted 28mm Gravelkings. And clipless pedals cause fuck straps.
Tested it on a 50 mile tour yesterday, mostly gravel. While technically possible, the only thing that sucks worse than riding it up steep inclines on coarse gravel is riding it down those. I could only get the necessary braking power in the drops and the bike kept trying to buck me off, so I could only spare one finger for breaking and held on for life with the others.
