Anon who picked up the boomer’d Stumpjumper here. Checked the chain with a gauge today and is so far out of spec the gauge cannot properly measure the wear. Pulled that off as well as pulled the chainrings and rear cassette for wear. A bit unfortunately the 44t chainring has a few teeth in so so shape, middle chain ring is worn and the middle sprockets in the cassette are worn, all not very surprising. I am not making a museum piece so I’ll throw everything back and a new chain after cleaning. Rear derailleur sprockets were shot so bought some new ones and did a deep clean while disassembled. While I was cleaning the rear drop outs I rolled quads of truth.
