It would have been almost perfect except I had two issues of chain suck - which is annoying on its own but the grinding against the chain stay is much worse. I guess I really need to clean this drive train and not be a retard when it comes to shifting (or in general). I also saw that a new chain (like this one) paired with old gears can be a suspect but I don't think they're that shot, just dirty.
