people here don't realize that Electra Townies - the most popular bike in America - are crank forward / semi-recumbent bikes! CF is slowly going to take over and with it recumbents might not be too far behind. All Road / Gravel meme has proven most riders don't actually want road bikes at all. The shift is slow but I suspect more and more people will stop caring about aero and start thinking about comfort. E-Bikes are a great thing as well, we need to give up on meaner parts of the "macho" (lol) competitive cycling mentality that is poisoning the hobby
