>>1679748Last year I upgraded my 26 mm stock road tires to 28 mm continental ride tours. I went from getting a flat per month on average, to not a single flat so far with over 1,000 km and counting. I don't notice much of a speed difference, and traction is much better, especially in rain and light gravel. I abuse the hell out of these tires, ride them in gravel, dirt, ice/snow, and of course pot-hole ridden city streets. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
They were only $40 for the pair and are probably considered budget tires, but honestly I don't see how paying twice as much for the high quality stuff would have made me any happier.
