One Japanese shinkansen handles close to 1,400 people per one train - and these trains leave every 5 minutes. If you've even been to Japan or Europe, it would be impossible to implement a hyperloop system with the amount of passengers they get.
Maglev is a far better solution for crossing regions with higher capacity. The hype loop will always remain a meme.
