>>1145878) Cold, snow, and moisture made it impossible to stick to the inside of the tire so I used rubber cement to aid in adhesion and it worked. It was just, after how well booting the tire worked (despite much lower pressure) and since I was just about to touch 1000km on this tire, I started getting ideas on how to get more from it.
For anyone else, here's a field tip of how to carry duct tape since carrying a whole roll is cumbersome. A hairpin as the core and a few wraps make a small, light, useful tool. Never know when you're gonna need duct tape...
