Using that heel method, I raised my saddle by 1 cm and now I'm walking like an old man after two days of trying this new saddle height, plus my average power has gone down a little. I think it is making it harder for me to actually sit back on the saddle and is forcing me to sit further up than before, maybe I lack the flexibility? I have like 1.5 cm to go to reach the ideal saddle height. Maybe it's just time to get a new saddle, even at the previous height I had issues with it being too narrow or me just not being able to sit back.
