A local post on social media exemplifies the different between casual cyclists and experienced ones. But a more practical issue is the road being completely clean and the bike lane clogged with sand.
I try to actively avoid the local cycling infrastructure because its all shit. One road over from this bike lane is a minor arterial that gets no sand applied during the winter and is completely clean curb to curb.
