>>15092252nd for skate helmet. I have a pro-tec skater helmet that claimed to be a able to withstand multiple impacts. Most lightweight bicycle helmets are designed to take one knock, then the foam is compressed and it no longer offers any protection. The skater helmet seems to have the same foam, just alot more of it and the whole thing is encased in a single thick plastic dome with only a few small holes in it, which would likely spread impacts out. I can't remember ever hitting my head while wearing it, but that itself may be an indicator that it's a good helmet. It's much heavier and obviously more durable than a lightweight roadfag helmet and also much hotter in warm weather.
Also alot of commandos around the world have been spotted using the very same helmets. Pic related is the exact helmet that I purchased at dick's for like $40
