I wish you could break down and reuse all the materials from those two stations on Sea Island (SIC and Templeton) cause theres just no fucking reason for them. also, theres no connection between Richmond and Surrey (despite being neighbours) outside of South Van/New West (Expo Line). so many damn considerations.
as for the lines to the ferry terminals, since its very determinate destination, they would run at a different frequency than inner city lines - like every 10 minutes, compared to every 30 minutes (plus traffic) on the bus. perhaps a different gauge and model of car for increased seating/storage (like for luggage)
