>>1840342>I find it more comfortable and more powerful to lean forward a bityou're right about that. you can also get a mustache bar for the forward position and flip it one way or the other to get a little drop or rise to the sweep position. grabbing the bodies of the brake levers is even more forward. they seem to be of a road brake diameter but surely someone makes them to accept mtb brake diameter?
but if you specifically want improved reach you'll be fine with a drop bar. I think some of them , specifically the flared versions, come in sizes to take your existing brakes.
