>>1379390 reporting back, I switched the pinsSo I’m guessing it doesn’t fucking matter, I had 2 pedal strikes today (which was possibly helped by 1mm shorter pins but also I’m extra aware of avoiding strikes today) and my shoes are even more chewed up with the non-threaded “smooth” side of the pins, but to be fair, today was a more aggressive bike park than the last one where I noticed the pedal strike problem. Traction feels, like, basically the same, idk.
But I’m leaving the pins reversed because top-screw pedal pins are the better, non-retarded design that actually lets you remove busted pins in the future
