If you get a Nissan Leaf or some other low end BEV, it basically means you are limited to using it for commute only.
Maybe driving to the cabin if you electricity there, and its within 20-30km of the max range.
The problem stays that way because you either get a Tesla, you get a shitty commute car to save money.

Going to be massive for the world economy to start the push to remove agriculture from dependence on dinosaur oil. Its also going to benefit the grind, since it can start getting decentralized from burning said dinosaur oil to generate heat and electricity.
