I'm 18 years old and about to start college studying commercial aviation but I'm wondering if it's even worth it any more. I don't wanna fly for any of the majors and my dream of flying international freight is dead thanks to covid mandates. I know a guy in his early 20s who was expelled from high school, got his GED and now he's making 6 figures doing aerial firefighting. I might follow in his footsteps or do corporate contracts or something. I'd rather spend what money I have saved for college on a down payment for a house before that becomes unobtainable for people of my generation. Wat do?
