>>1049302I just tried it out myself, the metro tracks have a setting to enable covered tracks, both with grass and concrete. And those are normal tracks, not stations, works with diagonals and tunnel entrances.
In this screenshot, the station tiles themselves are uncovered metro track, there the cover comes from the dutch stations.
