So no matter what you have to concede that alcohol is at least as bad as any other drug. And you have to concede that the prohibition of alcohol was extremely destructive in the united states and lead to increased crime. You also have to concede that the most extreme genocides against drugs did not stop drug use and Mao's attempt barely subdued the opium use for a decade but now china produces most of the worlds fentnyl.. and fentnyl is actually safer than morphine because it has a wider therapeutic ratio.. it's just that dealers dont weigh it out accurately.
I seriously don't have the time to get into it with you, but you're wrong. In 20-40 years the war on drugs will be looked at the same way we look back at slavery and the holocaust. People who supported it or continue to support it will be treated like racists or neo-nazis. One day people are going to wake up from this and even so there is a large portion of people who actively take drugs.
