>>1522151Charge cycles aren't really a concern at all. 18650s are good for like 5,000-10,000 charge cycles. Normies will never wear out a battery within it's expected use life. Same goes for the motors. It is almost impossible to wear out a conventional brushless motor.
What people might eventually get fucked on is the proprietary stuff like the weird BB/cranksets on some of the drives like Bosch. This is one reason that I prefer the Yamaha drive system; it uses conventional chainrings and square-taper cranks.
