also, what causes skipping in drivetrains? i have a 3x5 on a 90s mountain bike. put a new chain on and made sure its the right length. indexed it and it works great but when im riding it and putting power thru it skips. Would a warped chainring affect this? also they are oval shaped does that negativly affect shifting? im this close to buying a 1200$ 1x10 drivetrain for this 25$ mtb
