that makes sense actually. I thought the cable just dragging over the small pin was bad.
i will try to sus some new cam out of something. it's kinda cool i think. the fd also has a silly cam on it.
v brakes is not a bad idea but it's $$ and i like the original xt levers
just shipping on another vapor stem would be $50+
i'm trying to keep this cheap, it will quickly come to the price of a new mtb if i just spend $100 here and there
