Greenhouse gases (like CO2) do increase the Earth's temperature, but the Earth itself goes through cycles of high and low temps, and we happen to be on the spot where it's rising. Even if we stop CO2 emissions completely, the Earth will still keep warming up regardless, we're just accelerating it ever so slightly.
I wish I could remember the name, but there's a NOVA documentary that touches on the subject. Of course they don't outright say the whole thing is a hoax, but they're surprisingly impartial, and you can draw your own conclusions.
