Also, this design allows the user to put both feet on the ground when standing still, a massive safety benefit, especially when cycling on wet and slippery surfaces. It's a terrible shame that this has not become the default bicycle of choice. It would get a much larger section of the populace cycling. All because of UCI shilling for wedgies.
