Delivered for Girl and The Goat before too. West Loop is best loop, it's turning bougie as hell but it ain't as bad as River North cause it still got's a good balance of all kinds of people who don't care about nothing but having a good time. Soon enough you won't find those $10 meals anymore. Blame all the yuppie office tech workers moving into the new offices they're building, no offense, now that you're one of them as you claim, I can't do office work even if my life depended on it, I need to be outdoors. Anyways, they got high taste and money so everyone is going up class and up charging. I'm not complaining though, the area is getting nicer for the better real quick.
Most areas in the city is getting nicer (and expensive). Even my area far north is getting bougie and we were always supposed to be low-mid residential. Thank god Mayor 1% Rahm is out of office, I heard our new mayor, despite her demographic, runs a tight ship and gives no shit in putting her foot down to get shit done. It's still early to call but we'll see how the following years play out, we've been plagued with corruption on both the city and state level far too long. Suburbs ain't too bad either, depends which one we're talking about. Most of the hood is being pushed out into suburbs though, so a lot of them are going downhill.
I hear you though, when I left the city, all I wanted was to come back. The people, the food, the Lakefront, the biking, everything. We're about to get legal bud too. I'mma be smoking joints and delivering shit all day, every day, living the life, doing the hustle.
