Alright lads, think I asked this before, but it's more pertinent now so yeah.
I just installed a new threaded bottom bracket, it works great. I didn't use a torque wrench though. Did it until it's pretty tight, but it's probably not as tight as it would be with a torque wrench, judging from videos I've seen of BB installations. But I don't wanna over-tighten it. I'm sure it'll be fine but I know that ideally I should use a torque wrench.
Do you guys use a torque wrench? Also what gets on my tits is that you basically need two torque wrenches for bike work - one for low torques of like 2 - 10 NM, and then another of like 10 - 100 NM. Because ones that go up high enough to do things like BBs (which can be up to 60 NM I think) and cassette lockrings (40 NM) don't do low torques down to things like 2 - 3, which is needed for small bolts and stuff.
