Laugh at me all you want, but this is what I picked up this summer. Diamondback Edgewood. Under 200 bucks on closeout. I know, it's an old's man bike, usually seen hanging off motorhomes and made for cruising around RV parks in your bare feet. But fuck it, it was under 200 bucks on closeout and it's gotten me back into cycling. I hadn't been on a bike since I was 14.
Only complaints were that I had to do some adjusting on the rear derailleur, which wasn't that bad and now I'm learning more about bike maintenance. I got rid of those slippery pedals as soon as I could. The tires are great for riding on the paved paths around town, but they don't seem very steady on gravel.
Just sucks that it's winter now. Wish I could be out riding.
