Aircraft engines last much longer than they are rated.
Some small engines to help glider coming home are rated for like 50 hours, but last much longer.
The problem is that these engines get cold started and directly run at peak power, and have to do so relieable.
That is also the reason wankel engines ar only build for these gliders since they don´t sieze during operation and are light and compact as fuck.
