>>1526690just buy any 8 speed chain, same width as 6 and 7 speed chains. shimano cn40 chains comes with pins for closing, but are hard to find in LBS. but 8 speed chain are easy to closing using its ribbets, and it's better than using one-use chain links. it would be better having pic related but LBS doesnt offer them on 8 speed.
