By that I mean a game that focuses on laying tracks and creating functional infrastructure in a realistic manner instead of being a company management sim where your lines only symbolize what goes where.
I want something with a working semaphore system, without grid-based 90 degree turns, trains turning around on a whim or phasing through each other, where creating a working network actually requires thought and planning.
