How come in the Netherlands, where people regularly use bikes for practical purposes in their day-to-day lives, nobody wears a helmet? Are they a nation of madmen, or is it simply that you don't need a helmet for everyday cycling? Racing or downhill mountain biking, that I can understand. But just like F1 drivers wear helmets and regular drivers don't, you absolutely don't need a helmet for a leisurely bike ride.
