centre ridge tire patterns are a decent in-between, a shame they are not made in decent compounds, Maybe Maxxis CrossMark II M344 is ok idk
the other way is to have lots of small tread blocks it would be nice to see a tread pattern like Maxxis Pace M333 but with a small centre ridge
