If I'm selling it at a profit I'd think that someone that knows what the bike is would be the only type of person interested in it. And if that's the case I'm sure they'd be able to spot shitty stuff like that.
>post a picI would but it's completely dissembled since I have some stuff soaking in evaporust and some in mineral spirits. And another thing, clearly I am putting some work into this thing, overhauling BB, hubs, etc., so it doesn't make a ton of sense to throw some shitty tires and bar tape on it. Probably going to go with some Fizik classic 2mm tape in white because damn that stuff feels so nice.
I need to buy some NOS hoods as well because they just split off.
As far as I can tell, everything is original to the bike, but I might have to replace some spokes if I can't clean them up. A few of them are kind of corroded.
