also, nice bike, i suppose you're running those tires pretty tight, are they 28s?
i finished my frankenstein off road-ish bike and dont plan on wrenching any bit more, it already works great if you now how to use it; while moving it's a single speed, there's a trusty 16t Dicta on the back and a generic triple on front (48,38,28). You use it on the 16x48 on the city, reach some trail, slow down and gently guide the chain with the tip of your toe to the smallest ring while backpedalling and it should be ready to go (the same is true but more finicky when using the 48 ring on a road and entering inner city streets "shifting" to the 38 ring). To exit the trail and go back to tarmac there's no way around, i have to dismount and change it manually, takes only 10 sec tho and i'd dismount to pump the tires again anyway.
It is very ugly, you may call it a troll bike, a deathtrap even, but god if it wasn't fun entering some abandoned farm land and kicking this thing around. I'm pretty happy with it, may change bartape someday.
