>>1163562>>1163596Now while I was in the SF bay area on vacation, I couldn't not ride so I searched for a high end bike rental service to rent the equivalent of a Porsche 911 or BMW M series. So I searched high and low and managed to find a rental service that borrowed me a 2016 Specialized Roubaix SL4 Comp UDi2 for a 24 hour period for $100. Of course it's a lot more expensive than Divvy's all day rental at $15 but this was a fully carbon fred sled much much better than my own bike. I road it everywhere, from San Leandro to the Marshlands, across the Dunbarton Bridge, even saw the Google campus. It was awesome. Fun fact, the Google campus has free to use bike share you can just grab and go and leave anywhere because they're everywhere.
Anyways, I just want to say that even for high end bike rental services, there's a market for people like me. If you haven't rode such a nice bike before, it's worth doing at least once.
