Getting pretty close on my seatime to just go for the DDE4000 and get my AB, and skip the QMED, and save myself $3k.
I don’t understand the commonality of spending problems with mariners. I know a licensed engineer who works 243 total days out of the year, $150k annually before taxes. He just had to take a $40k hit on a truck he couldn’t afford anymore. He near annually kept rolling over debt from some monster truck mall crawler to the next one.
