Hi as you can see, I'm trying to piece a trainset together. I don't like my first draft, I mean the execution, not the idea. It's a really small baseplate.
If you feel like it, why don't you show me what you would do, like in Paint, or something. Would be pretty radical. The picture shows all the track pieces I have. If your pitch is fire. I can probably wing it. I wanted to do Africa, like 60's Rhodesia or anything but central Europe, there will be elevation and nature. And a tunnel.
I have
>a bunch of straights
>well enough slight bends
>about 180° of tight bends
>more than enough normal bends
>two straight pieces with mirroring switches
>two bendy switches, also mirrored
>two identical 4way switch thingies.
>If you feel like having a bridge, do it... but consider elevation.
Ideally I'd like to have two dead ends going off the board where I can put adapters, so my little brother can connect a layout from a starter trainset on the floor, go crazy. Dunno, to open the thing a bit more up for like non shunting locos.
