Seriously you have to be a real bad ass to fly one of these widowmakers. The engine out procedure is to raise flaps and gain as much speed as possible. This allows them to have a less draggy wing, or at least that is what I remember being the design goal.
Anyways it's an amazing performing aircraft with the same reputation as the f-104 but it's not because of a design problem, rather just that most pilots instinctively did the opposite of what they're supposed to do in engine outs because that's how king airs are flown.
Anyway, most people know a local dentist or lawyer whos life was lost to this aircraft, or more specifically foolishness. That's why it's such an honor to pilot one and when girls hear that you fly a Mu-2 their pussies automatically get wet because they know danger is your middle name.
