>>1654589I've ridden Snake Road quite a few times and it can be pretty sketchy with drivers. The climb is pretty big and winding - it's not unusual for drivers to race past you on blind turns. Then the descent is crazy and you'll often find yourself coming up the rear of someone who's pootling along enjoying the views. Either that or some nutter tries to over take you whilst you're sat in the middle of the lane going 60+km/h. If I wanted to cross the peaks I'd much prefer to take the Longdendale Trail (NCN62) and avoid traffic for most of the journey
