So in conclusion after experimenting with a full size cooker i have developed what i think is the definative cheap,quick, super clean, unlimited chain proceedure using household items and minimal workspace
1. instead of purchasing lube from now on purchase a cheap chain break and a power link
2. Break chain and put in coffee jar full of kerosene. Soak and shake as you desire (5mins to overnight)
3. Put a candles in second coffe jar. Put directly on stove-top on med-high and melt.
4. Take chain out of kerosene jar and let chain air dry while wax is melting
5. Put dry chain in meted wax jar. Soak and agitate for 5 minutes
6. Pull warm chain out with a old spoke or pliers and leave to cool for 5 minutes
7. put chain on bike with clean cogs and add powerlink
8. repeat for more chains (i do 3 at once)
its literally perfection. prove me wrong. i normally spend more time cleaning my hands and clothes after normal spray degreasing and everything was just laying round the house ! ;)
