>>1737444Idk people just post bikes and rarely the places they ride. I assume its a British or euro thing where they have a lot more rocky trails than just dirt. Ruts, roots, rocks, all justify having a mountain bike. To me it's a safety thing, less to worry about.
Also less chance of bending wheels. I'm surprised that's not a bigger concern when people discuss taking road bikes off of the road.
