I'm pretty confident, last weekend my city had a public vote on new zoning plans for buildings and traffic. And now we are building 100km of cycling lanes, slash roadside parking for that push motorized traffic out of city quarters, build more green space and parks, slash more parking for that and aim for 30km/h on all city streets.
It took about 30 years to get to this vote and likely another 30 to get it done, but at least I have hope.
