>>1325251>>1325244Well, the Triban were my first "real" bike, it was a test to see if I would like to travel by bike to work and wherever. So it never hit me that there mightve been a weight limit.
It was after I got introduced to bikepacking that I started to think "hmm, I don't think this 500€ bike are built for this". Having up to 15kg of extra weight on the bike at one point.
It did survive 2 winters of salt and a lot of beating, no service, no new tires or brake pads. It was a real beater bike.
There's nothing wrong with it today either so it's just a backup bike at this point.

Also I've heard that SRAM discs are hard to maintain, maybe i'm wrong.
My Trek is 150€ more and have Hydro discs with Compact Tiagra groupset. More aggressive position thought, so that might be a negative. I don't mind it after 1 year ownership.
