Okey so... there's this bike downstairs where I live. I suspect its former owner was one of my neighbors who passed away about a year ago, as the bike hasn't been moved for about that long.
The bike now has a sticker from the municipality which means it's been marked as likely abandoned, and it will be collected by the municipality. After some time, it'll most likely be scraped.
Now, I really, really dig the frame of the bike and would love to give it a second life by swapping any components needed. I would also like it to have it as a project bike myself.
Is it ethical to take the bike?
