Global Fat Bike Day tomorrow. Snow conditions not good enough for me to make the 250 km drive to the big gathering in a neighboring city, so I'll just do the local one. Should be about 35 people at the local one, other city is probably going to get 100 more riders.
Its a little amusing when I go to these fat bike events. It can be -4C and half the people are wearing ski goggles. I usually don't consider goggles until at least -15C, and even then only if its windy.
One nice thing about the current minimal snow depth is being able to ride anywhere without bogging down. Once it gets deeper, you have to stick to a packed path.
These easements are perfect for winter fat biking, but most are pretty far from home. I'll have to hit the creek soon, but that is even further.
