Current setup:
Tiagra 5 arm 130bdc crank with a 1x 38t, hollow axle.
105 derailleur, mid arm (I think), 11-36 10sp cassette.
Works great for most of my riding, but getting my ass kicked on 10% hills, and 8% with a load of groceries.
Looks like 38t is the smallest chainring I can get on that crank. 36 is the biggest cassette (much fiddling to get that to work).
Is going to a pic related gravel crankset my only option for lower gearing?
Should I even be struggling on 10%? 38-36 is already lower than a lot of road bikes, and I hear people only complaining about that grade after a few miles.
