There is one of the bigger hills in my city on my block and there is heavy bike traffic all through my neighborhood. However, I am not exaggerating when I say that every cyclist is a noob. I have watched hundreds of people try to bike up this hill. They either stand out of the saddle and mash or just give up and walk. Every single time, I look at the chain and sure enough, it's in the middle of the cassette.
GEAR DOWN, assholes! I know it's not my business, but want to scream at them. I want to push them off their bikes and throw them down the hill. I can literally count on one hand the number of people I've seen who actually know how to use their gears.
