scott horton, of
antiwar.com, podcast with an award winning economist Bob Murphy, who proves the cost of climate change and energy market intervention (cap and trade enron invented ponzi scheme) is literally the fucking same (a few trillion a year when the global gdp is 70 trillion) ¨
https://scotthorton.org/interviews/6-14-19-bob-murphy-on-the-economics-of-climate-change/Intervening in markets is violence and will cause more instability because all market intervention does is exaggerate the boom and bust cycle which affects poor people disproportionately. When this final bubble crashes you guys will get to experience this first hand because we still have a debt from 2009 to pay as well as the current crisis. Because free markets help poor people this way if you are a leftist or a liberal you should support a laissez faire hands off approach.
What happened to the four countries that refused to trade oil in dollars, venezuela, iran, iraq and libya? They got a nice dose of prescribed freedom and democracy which led to 100s of thousands of civilians dying. How do you think the global military prison industrial complex will abuse the Cap and Trade system? How will smaller countries unable to comply with it be sanctioned and destabilized. If you are against war you should be against climate alarmism and market intervention.
Also, cheap air travel has lead to the most opportunities being available for the working class so you should support deregulation of aviation further so that more poor people can travel where they need to.
