They have really stiff reinforced sidewalls so mounting them was a bitch, easily one of the most difficult tires I ever mounted. I broke a 7 year old tire lever mounting them. Advertised with a sub zero compatible compound and sidewall thread down to the bead for light off road or gravel. I'm hoping their durability means no 0F field repairs mid winter like last year.
We'll see how I feel about these tires after a couple thousand miles. Measured 27.9mm mounted on 14.5mm wheels and have a rounder profile than the squarer tires I've spent the past year on so turn in is sharper and the extra spinning weight makes me corner less confidently. I'm still getting a feel for them and their traction limits but the real test will be winter.
